Hanging out with mommy

Kirk turned 30!! He said he was depressed the whole day, but I did my best to make it fun for him. Plus, his dad drove all the way out to celebrate with us! We had dinner at Cheesecake factory and a dessert party a few days later.

6-10-11

I went to Taft for my Birthday. Well, actually I got there the night before, and the next morning I drove with my family to Pismo Beach. It was a fun day! We had the famously delicious Splash Cafe clam chowder and got to play on the beach. It was fun finally having all 4 cousins together.

The next day we had a cousin photo shoot.

I love Zeke's face and how relaxed he looks in this one:

He finally got to meet our dear friend Charlotte on Sunday.

Getting good at tummy time. He doesn't cry anymore, and actually seems to like it.

Zeke had his first taste of rice cereal today.

Most of the cereal ended up on his shirt and the Bumbo chair, but he had fun getting messy!

Zeke loves it when we read to him, but more than that, he loves attacking the books and trying to put them in his mouth. He goes a little extra crazy when we read him this one, and gets frustrated if he can't put it in his mouth.

7-1-11

Zeke is starting to twist and squirm. This morning I laid him on his blanket like this...

and a few minutes later he was like this.

Second try at eating rice cereal. He seems to like it, but still can't keep much in his mouth.
