Dr Seuss

I decided to try to be crafty and make our own stockings. It's a LOT harder than I thought it would be (probably because I didn't have a pattern to follow...)

I guess it's pretty good considering I've haven't really sewed that much before, but it took me half a day to finish Kirk's, and now I'm not sure I have the motivation to finish mine =)
I showed the finished product to Kirk, hoping to get a "Wow, good job!" or some other comforting lie like that. He said, "It looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book."
At least it's not an obviously negative comment, but it is it really a compliment?? Hmmm. I'll take it.

Maybe next year

I thought it might be nice to send out Christmas cards, but these are the kind of results I get when I try to get Kirk to take a picture:

Oh the joys of having a husband who is 40% little boy... =)
