Father's Day

We made a little trip up to Taft for father's day weekend. Dad gave a talk in Sacrament meeting today. I guess he had to speak on father's day last year, too, but I missed it. It was nice.

We got up sort of early on Saturday (my dad usually likes to get up at 5am so we can enjoy the glassy smooth water right when the lake opens, but we didn't make it to Taft until 1am, so we decided to sleep in a little) and headed out to Buena Vista lake.

Kirk was going to try skiing, but the wind made the water too choppy for a first try. He had fun on the tube, though.




It's been a while since I went water skiing. It was fun! But I'm definitely feeling it today. My legs and shoulders are sore.

It was Eli's first time on a boat. It was cute to watch him. He was pretty serious and seemed a little scared at first, but overall I think he loved it.
