Which means we didn't get to do a lot for our anniversary (2 years already!!), but I guess things could be worse.
My 20-week appoinment was this week, and Kirk pretty much told me he wasn't going to make it!! I was kind of upset about that, but luckily a friend suggested we just go to one of those ultrasound places and find out together. So we did! It was a rip-off, but we just called it our anniversary present, and at least we got to find out together. It was kind of cool actually, because they put the ultrasound images up on this huge screen. The only thing that made me sad was that the room was too dark so I couldn't see Kirk's face when she said, "It's a boy!"
The first thing she said was, "Well, you've definitely got a boy. He's just laying it all out there, he's got no shame." To which I replied, "Just like his daddy." =) And yet another Varga boy prepares to enter the world. May God grant me patience... Just kidding. But probably really.
So we are excited, but have no idea what to name him. Kirk is set on an old man name, and I have yet to find something that I really like. We'll see. The problem is, Kirk wants a name "that you can't find on a Disneyland keychain" but I'm a little more traditional... Any suggestions?

Wow, that's a lot of ultrasound photos of his "boy-ness". Yup, it's a boy all right! :)
Oh, and LOOK AT YOUR CUTE BABY BUMB!!!!! I want to touch it. (it's okay people. I'm her sister.)

Oh, this post brings some tears to my eyes. I'm so so so excited and love to see how excited you are getting. We are so happy for little boys. I love all the US pics. Definitely a boy. Yay! That's my nephew in there. Can't wait!!!
how about little black boy names like we chose? you know like Jerome, Jamal, Teko, Francois, Lucious, but since he's related to Kirk he should probably be named Francis (nasal emphasis on the "a"). How about Frankincense? You could call him Frank for short...cause he smells so sweet.
