On our honeymoon (last September) we stayed in this cute bed & breakfast on the coast. There was this kite shop nearby and we thought it would be fun to buy one of those trick kites that can do flips and stuff. So we bought one.

But somehow we never got around to using it until today, only 8 months later =) It took us a while to figure out how to assemble all the pieces...
...and then we realized that it didn't come with handles, so Kirk improvised.
The biggest problem was that there was not enough consistent wind. We would get a good gust and then it would die suddenly, sending the kite crashing to the ground.

If you watch carefully, you can catch glimpses of me flying the kite in the backgroud. If you are lucky, you can actually see the kite, too.

Too bad the wind wasn't cooporating. Last time I tried flying a kite was at the beach over Thanksgiving. It kept crashing.
Did Kirk even know the video camera was on? It looks like footage from a camera that was accidentally left on in some body's pocket or around their neck!
Yeah, that makes it even funnier! He was running to to get the kite at the beginning, but then I'm not sure why he had such a hard time =)
